Frequently Asked Questions

The NH liquor commission does not allow our type of business to provide alcohol for a bar service on private or residential property. Therefore, you or your venue must provide the alcohol. We will however, assist in the menu creation and provide you with a complete alcohol shopping list.

As the hired alcohol server, we are required to follow and uphold the State and Federal liquor service requirements as well as those of our liquor liability policy. We retain the right to refuse alcohol to any guest.

In order to reserve your event date, a signed agreement and a deposit of 40% is required. The remaining balance will be due 20 days before your event date. Deposits are refundable only if canceled 120 days before your event date.

We understand that plans can change, and we strive to accommodate our clients as best as possible. If you need to cancel your booking with Lake Libations Mobile Bar, please notify us in writing at least 120 days prior to your event date for a full refund of your deposit.

Cancellations made within 120 days of the event will forfeit the deposit.

If the cancellation is due to unforeseen circumstances beyond your control (e.g., natural disasters, government regulations, pandemics), we will work with you to reschedule the event or provide a partial refund at our discretion.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The host is required to have an Event Liability Policy.

We are based in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire and primarily service around this area. We will bring our trailer anywhere within 30 miles of Meredith, NH at no additional cost. We can discuss options if your event if outside of this area and determine a reasonable travel fee.

Power is preferred for all events. Please situate us within 100 feet of a power supply, we will provide the extension cords. 

If no power is available, a generator can be provided for an additional fee.

We need to be able to drive the bar trailer to its location. Please provide a level site large enough to house the trailer plus an area around the bar for guests to mingle and access the bar. Our trailer is 6 feet wide by 15 feet long.

We carry a general liability and a liquor liability insurance policy.  All staff is TIPS certified.

We’re so sorry, but our liquor liability policy along with our liquor serving certification prohibit the serving of any underage guests. Valid IDs will be required for all guests who we feel appear near the legal drinking age.

If we discover underage drinking during our service, we will discuss the situation with the host and issue a warning. If the situation continues, we will unfortunately be required close the bar and cease our services immediately.

Yes, we are happy to provide service for any type of event and provide a non-alcoholic beverage menu from infused waters to sodas, lemonades, infused iced teas or mocktails.

Trash cans for guests as well as garbage removal and bottle and can recycling are the hosts responsibility.

Whoever brings the supplies keeps the remaining. You as the host keep all remaining alcohol and anything else you supplied. Lake Libations keeps anything remaining which we supplied.
